What will be the content of the slurry for the shale oil pipeline being proposed over the Sand Hills aquifer?

Nebraskans are worried about the Trans-American pipeline being proposed to run through Nebraska, What actually be running through the pipeline? What will the content of the slurry that the pipeline as transporting? Will it be be just crushed shale and water, or is there something else added to the mix which people need to worry about? It isn't petroleum/oil since it is has to be transported for processing. Am I missing something here?
