We have multistage centrifugal pumps for the 1000km long pipeline at different intermediate pumping locations?

the pumps are used for pumping Petrol, diesel and kerosene. The pump vibrates alarmingly high while pumping Petrol( Motor spirit) but vibrates less while pumping diesel. what may be the reason for the above?
