Eastenders: is Masood a big hypocrite?

He's a massive hypocrite but at the same time he's being driven to the end of his tether by his irritating wife. She blames him for their debt and everything else that's gone wrong with the family while all the time he's just tried to do what's best to make her happy. He's in a catch 22 situation, suffer the wrath of his wife and not be in debt or suffer her wrath and be in debt. I know what I'd do if I was married to a woman like that and it wouldn't include her.
