Should I upgrade to a ATi Radeon HD 5850?

Right now I have the 8800 GTX. I pulled the two up in a side by side comparison chart, but I am not familiar with framebuffers, pipelines, etc. The ATi Radeon HD 5850 seems like and good card, and is right around my price range, just not sure how much better it is compared to what I already have.
