Can I survive an F5 Tornado is I anchor myself to a pipeline that's 50ft below the Earth's Surface?

I was recently watching the 1995 movie "Twister" and towards the end Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt anchored themselves to a pipeline while in an F5 Tornado with winds exceeding 300mph? Is this possible? and what would happen in real life? Wouldn't there bones snap and break, or wouldn't there skin be ripped off by the debris flying at bullet speeds?
