My boyfriend is a bad kisser......?

My boyfriend is a terrible kisser. We went off to college and took a break- and I hooked up with lots of guys at school. Now its summer, we're fooling around, and he still is a terrible kisser. I feel horrible about saying anything- but I feel like I should? Should I teach him? Is it for his own good or would he be really hurt. GUYS and girls please HELP.
