Electric car recharging?

Can you say Conservation of Energy? Two 100 amp (assuming 12v) would require more than 2400 watts of energy to turn them. That means that more than 2400 watts extra would have to be used from the batteries to keep the car running. That means that your batteries would run down quicker with the generators attached than with them disconnected. IE, you would have to take about 3000 watts out of the batteries just to create 2400 watts with a net loss of 600 watts that could have been used to make the car go farther or faster.
