Air force combat control training?

I have recently enlisted into the Air Force as a spec ops combat controller and was wondering if anyone knows if during the combat control training pipeline do you have nay contact with the outside world? if so, how often? letters or phone calls? do you get weekend leave like a normal job? any info would be greatly appreciated.
